**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. **Duties:** - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards - Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions - Provide safety training programs for employees on topics such as first aid, CPR, and emergency response - Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and make recommendations for improvements - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EPA, EHS, OSHA, and workers' compensation laws and regulations - Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs - Lead safety committee meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness - Monitor occupational health programs and ensure compliance with health standards **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field - Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred - Proficient in workers' compensation law, first aid, CPR, training development, and root cause analysis - Knowledge of EPA, EHS, OSHA regulations - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role Joining our team as a Safety Manager offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on workplace safety while advancing your career in occupational health and safety.
